Matter is a learning playground for all ages. What started as a small community art studio in 2008 has steadily evolved into a full-scale creativity center that helps more than 8,000 people each year explore art, science, and technology through fun, hands-on learning adventures.
Each year Matter serves an increasing number of visitors. As they look toward the future, there is a clear need to expand the capacity of the programs in order to effectively and efficiently provide meaningful learning experiences to the community.
Programs that have experienced significant growth over the past few years and which they identified for expansion include robotics, complex machines, 3D printing, and pottery programs. Equipment purchases significantly expand the ability to meet community demand for these program areas.
